GigSky eSIM test 2026

1,749 plans for 150+ countries from €0,53/GB. Independent test, daily-fresh prices.

GigSky is a US-based eSIM pioneer that has been selling international data since 2010 — long before eSIM was mainstream. The company runs partnerships with Tier-1 carriers in 190+ countries and is the eSIM provider chosen by Apple for the in-Settings travel data feature on iPhones in selected markets, which speaks to its reliability. The catalogue covers exotic destinations like cruise ships, in-flight Wi-Fi alternatives and remote islands that most competitors don't touch. Pricing is firmly in the premium segment — GigSky is not for budget travellers — but the network quality, speed and global redundancy are excellent, and the app is straightforward to use on both iOS and Android.

Had connectivity in most places but it was slower than I am used too. Typically 3G speeds. Almost never 5g and once in a while LTE. I did appreciate that I was able to use google when in China though.
