Lebara Travel eSIM eSIM test 2026

Easy to load but when trying to use it to hotspot it would not connect to any appliance (TV, laptop, other mobile). Customer service quick to respond but just kept saying the problem was with my device. Yes, but no suggestion on how to fix it. Eventually sorted with use of AI. I asked for a refund (or even part refund) as it was not fit for purpose. Refused even after sending emails and WhatsApp messages and escalating to management. This was on the basis that they could see that I'd used some data, yes 0.5g on my own mobile, not hotspotting, talking to Lebara to sort the problem out! Absolut

The agent was very helpful but I’m afraid the advice he gave is not working. I still can’t get use of the travel eSIM. It is very disappointing. I know it is not his fault.

Before the trip, I spoke with customer support. I clearly explained that during three weeks I would be traveling within Asia across four different countries. They assured me that everything would work without any issues. At their request, I even left a 5-star review beforehand.During the trip, it turned out this was not true.I purchased a 30-day eSIM plan for the first country, even though I stayed there only 2 days. I did this because I knew I would return to the same country for another 2 days at the end of the trip and planned to use the remaining data. Unfortunately, this is not possible.Y
